Hi y'all!

Alright now, with this new entry, I'm gonna delete the other journal entry (and the edits, sorry for all that...), because thanks to the Help Desk, I resolved that "lost journal" issue. Phew! Thanks again, dear Oliver!

Guess I was overreacting a little bit there. I seem to do that a lot lately. Or rather, things have been coming up lately, and it's been like "so the drama" to me... But I guess everything's gonna be okay. Just takes time.

Well, first off, I've been in my new job for about 1 1/2 months now, and so far I really like it there. Better than my old job, but since I'm no longer "in training", that kinda goes without saying. But seriously, I do like the people there, and the work itself. We had some exhausting times last month, with all those work-free days in between, when the work of a whole week was to be done in fewer days. But that's okay, happens all the time. And now, I'm getting better payment, too.

But then, like I said, some things came up that distracted me a little (too much) from adjusting to my new work place: First, my car almost gave up on me, but since I need it to drive to my workplace on a regular basis, it needed to be repaired yet again. It's okay for now, but with all the money I invested in that old car (13 years old) within the past year, I could've almost afforded a new one (exaggerating here!). So, now I decided to finally buy a new(er) one, sooner than I "planned". The deal is (almost) done, I'm really excited.

So, that's a necessary investment now. But I'll have to make another one sooner than I thought: I'll have to move this summer! Personally, I would've wanted to move near the end of the year, or next year, when I'm no longer on probation. But that wasn't my decision. Unfortunately, the owner of my apartment has claimed it for personal needs, so she wants me out until September. That was a real shock, because - like she confirmed - there was never anything wrong about my payments or anything. But she's an old woman, recently widowed, her grandson wants an apartment of his own, and she wants him near her. So, I'm looking for a new apartment now, preferably closer to my working place, so I don't have to drive so far every day any more. Hope I'll find a nice one, but it all feels like such a hurry now.

Seems like 2013 really is a year of changes for me...
