Hehe, just a little something that popped into my head a while ago...
Remember the ending of "The Curse of Monkey Island"? LeChuck captured Guybrush & Elaine, seized Elaine and took her to his "Rollercoaster of Death" to make her his undead bride, and turned Guybrush into a child. In the game, Elaine manages to escape from LeChuck, and Guybrush has to break the spell that turned him into a child, in order to destroy LeChuck and to rescue Elaine (he doesn't know she escaped yet). So, one day, I was wondering: What, if Guybrush hadn't been able to break the spell first? Pretty funny image, so I HAD to draw it!
In my pic, they're standing on Monkey Mountain, i.e. the huge monkey head on Monkey Island. I tried my best to make the Big Whoop Carnival (a.k.a. Carnival of the Damned) recognizable, but I got a little lazy when it came to drawing the tents and a little bit of the Monkey Island jungle in the background. The CMI clouds gave me fits, too, but I think they turned out quite nice. As for Guybrush (under the spell) and Elaine, I used a reference for both of them, but I drew their poses a little differently, so I don't know if the proportions are still okay. Child Guybrush's proportions are pretty weird in the game, anyways. I also don't know if they have the right height, but I guess it's okay to make Child Guybrush only half as big as Elaine.
This was entirely drawn & colored with my tablet in Photoshop. I drew the lineart yesterday, all the coloring & background was done today. I'm really happy with how smooth the lineart turned out! I drew it way too big and then shrunk it down, but that really worked well! Okay, enough talk, hope you like it!
