Selen, Thief Millennia

A piece of fanart for "Queen Millennia" (a.k.a. "The Queen of a Thousand Years", original Japanese title "Shin Taketori Monogatari Sen-nen j'ôo"), an anime series by Leiji Matsumoto from 1981. I loved it when I first saw it in 1992, and I still do. Unfortunately, not many people remember this series or know it at all.
Anyways, this pic shows Selen's transformation into "Thief Millennia" or "The Thief of a Thousand Years". Thief Millennia is the enemy of Queen Millennia, who is Yayoi, Selen's younger sister (see here: [link]).
