I needed some kind of a relief from my stress. So I did something I wanted to do for a long time: I drew a portrait of Elaine Marley & Guybrush Threepwood from the ending scene of "The Secret of Monkey Island".
I messed them up quite a bit, especially Guybrush (and his nose!), but I still think it turned out quite okay. Hope you like it. (drawn March 23rd-24th, 2007)

Noses are so hard to do. I wish I could draw people half as good as you. This is amazing. I have always liked Monkey Island. I only wish I got to play it more. I think we have one of them but it is probbly on Floppy so I wont be able to play it anymore.
Thank you!
Yeah, too bad those great games don't run on newer computers! Only that program "ScummVM" is of some help, but you need the games on CD or anything for that, too.
Ya I have ScummVM too. I use it for Inherit the Earth. I love thoese programs cause the older games are the best. Only new game I like is the sims 2. I can play and enjoy others but I only get into the older games that I grew up with and loved.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
