Tales of MI: Promise - SPOILER

Once again, I wanted to draw a scene from the new "Tales of Monkey Island" games. This time, I chose a scene from the ending of the fourth chapter, "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood". So, sorry if I spoil anything for anyone, but I've seen many pictures around here already that could be potentially spoiling. This time, I put a HUGE warning in the title, so if you really don't want to be spoiled, don't read on! And don't look at the drawing too closely.
Like I already said in my journal, I was deeply impressed and shocked by the ending of this fourth chapter of the "Tales" series. How could I not be? LeChuck pretended to be good, and then killed Guybrush!! *shock* So, I drew a little sketch last night and colored it today, using the "Multiply" method in Photoshop again, on one single layer. This is my interpretation of the last tender moment between Guybrush and Elaine, when he asks her to kick LeChuck's "two-faced butt" for him, and Elaine promises: "From Mêlée to Monkey and all the islands in between, my love." And she draws him into a hug, before he collapses. What an emotional scene! And I think both their voice actors (Dominic Armato & Alexandra Boyd) really surpassed themselves in that last scene!
Once again, I wanted to combine the character designs from ToMI with the comic style from CMI. And I used Elaine's blue eye color from CMI, because I personally think blue eyes suit her better than green eyes. Oh, and I refrained from drawing any blood, because Telltale Games didn't show blood in the game, either. But I drew a cut in the back of Guybrush's coat, to imply where LeChuck stabbed him with the cutlass.
I admit, I was rushing this pic a little bit, and I didn't feel like drawing an interesting background. Any kind of background would've been kinda distracting, anyways.
Hope you like it. I just can't wait to play the fifth and last part of ToMI, "Rise of the Pirate God". Probably (hopefully!) Guybrush will somehow return to the world of the living there...
