The Bavarian Sea: Castle 01

Remember my little "Bavarian Sea" series I uploaded around Easter? Today (October 2nd, 2011), I went back to the "Chiemsee", the biggest lake in Bavaria, and this time for a boat ride to the "Herreninsel", an island in the middle of the lake, where King Ludwig II built one of his castles. So, this is a continuation of the "Bavarian Sea" series.

This picture was taken on the "Herreninsel". It's the castle "Schloss Herrenchiemsee" with a glimpse of its huge garden.
