This is something I thought of when I found this picture of Dominic Armato, the voice of Guybrush Threepwood in Monkey Island 3 & 4, on the "World of Monkey Island" ([link]). Actually, I just wanted to compare the realistic Guybrush from "The Secret of Monkey Island" with Dominic Armato, and I didn't even plan to create a wallpaper. But then I thought why not compare the 4 Guybrushs from all the games, as he really looks pretty different in every game! And then it turned out like this. ;)
I don't know how old this picture of Dominic is, though. I found it above an interview from 1998, so it's probably that old already. But oh man, I must say: He looks great in this picture! :love: And I just love his voice, I think it's the perfect voice for Guybrush (at least in the 3rd and 4th part, don't really know if it would've suited Guybrush in the first 2 parts).

If you ask me: I like the CMI Guybrush the most and I like the EMI Guybrush the least.

Well, yeah, I could make a Wallpaper about Elaine. Only thing is it would look pretty different than this one, because (1) Elaine doesn't appear much in MI2, there's no close-up I can take of her, and (2) I made this wallpaper mainly because of the picture of Dominic Armato I found, so I would have to show pictures of Elaine's voice, and as far as I know, she had 2 different voices. But maybe I'll get some more ideas soon... Maybe I'll make a Guybrush & Elaine Wallpaper...

I totally agree with you, the EMI Guybrush doesn't look great at all. I also like the CMI Guybrush very much, but I prefer the SMI one. ;)

Der Synchronsprecher von Guybrush sieht wirklich gut aus! :D
Warum ist die Graphik von MI1 viel besser als die von MI2?
Mir gefällt der von SMI auch am besten, aber der von CMI ist auch nicht schlecht. Mir gefällt der Stil davon.

Ja, nicht wahr? Ich frag mich, ob der auch heute noch so gut aussieht! :D
Hm, das mit der Grafik wirkt glaub ich nur so, weil das Bild aus MI1 eine "Nahaufnahme" ist, in MI2 dagegen gab's solche nicht mehr. Du musst dir vorstellen, dass das Bild aus MI1 den ganzen Bildschirm ausfüllt, während das aus MI2 nur ein Ausschnitt ist, den ich dazu noch vergrößern musste. Drum ist es auch gar so verpixelt. Ich find's schade, dass es in MI2 keine solchen Szenen in Nahaufnahme mehr gab.

I love Guybrush in the 3 and 4 parts of Monkey Island ( I have never ever thought that he would look so different in the two first parts :O ) !!!! :love:
And Dominic Armato looks great in that pic! : D He seems to fit pretty well with Guybrush (I can't really be sure, because I'm from Spain and I've only heard Guybrush's voice in Spanish :( [although I love it :love: ])

Didn't you play the first 2 parts? If so, you really missed something! :D But I love the 3rd part most! Never played the 4th.
Anyways, I don't know Guybrush's Spanish voice, all I can say is that his German voice isn't that great, but his original English voice (Dominic Armato) is brilliant!! You should check out the scenes from Curse of Monkey Island on YouTube or the World of Monkey Island homepage ([link]) and listen to his English voice there. ;)
