Last Saturday (June 27th, 2009), I went to the "Tollwood" festival in Munich with some friends, for the first time in my life. It was really nice, and I took some pictures with my new digicam, which I got as an early birthday present. No editing in any of the photos.

This was actually taken at home. It's a macro picture of a souvenir I got from the "Tollwood" festival. It's my name engraved on a grain of rice, inside of a pendant. Lovely, isn't it?

That is highly unusual, I've never seen a name engraved on a piece of rice before. Well it just goes to prove that there's always a first time for
everything, hehe! :D

Oh, I've seen those before -- they're sooo cool! Its amazing that people can write that small! Do you know what sort of liquid it is in?

Oh, I have no idea what kind of liquid that is, sorry. I just watched her fill it in with a syringe, and she had several syringes with differently colored liquids.

Ah, no worries. I was just curious if it was some sort of preservative, or just water/oil or something. It looks really cool though!

I think it should be fine. One of my friends had a necklace like that, and its been a few years now, and it looks just like when she got it.
